Inquisition Underground It was a time of ignorance....A beautiful young woman living a peaceful and simple life...She made her way using herbs to create folk remedies for the nearby villagers. Her beauty and the fact that she did not have a husband inspired jealousy and envy in the hearts of some of the village women. They began to spread rumors about this young beauty being a witch. It was a time of intolerance, a time to fear such rumors. The scheming village women knew these rumors would soon bring the inquisitors to investigate the whispered charges against the young beauty. She was arrested and enchained, subject to the every whim of the zealots of the inquisition! |
